FAITH DEVELOPMENT

Developing one’s faith can be done in many ways.  Some of the faith-growing opportunities here are:

Worship services, normally at 7:45 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings.  These are Spirit-filled services with Scripture, preaching, music, with Congregational participation.  Youth Church, youth-centered services, are the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 10:45.

Sunday School is for everyone at 9:30, including Seekers, new members, and mature Christians.

Bible Study classes cover a variety of topics and use several books as resources.  Pastor Walton and Associate Pastors lead these interactive classes.  For current classes, click here.

Morning Prayer – Come gather with other Christians to pray and be filled with encouragement as you also support others every Saturday at 7:00 a.m.

Community Dinner

On the fourth Saturday of each month, members of the American Baptist Women prepare and serve a free dinner at the church.  Food, fellowship, and a welcoming environment have made this a meaningful event.

Missions Ministry

A committed team partners with several community agencies and organizations to serve people who are in difficult circumstances.  Some of these are:  conducting food drives, coordinating meals for St. Benedict’s homeless mission, Project Focal Point, and sending short term missionaries abroad.  To volunteer to help, contact MissionsMin@CalvaryBaptistMke.org (click here).
